Gigabyte announces their 4K UHD QD-OLED 240hz AORUS FO32U2P Flagship display with DisplayPort 2.1

Introducing the FO32U2P, the flagship monitor offers 32″ (precisely 31.5″) QD-OLED panel built by Samsung Display. With a resolution of 3840 x 2160 (commonly referred to as "4K") and an impressive 240Hz refresh rate, this monitor is designed to bring crystal clear image and excellent colors for everyday gaming needs.

Equipped with adaptive-sync for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), it holds certifications under both AMD's 'FreeSync Premium Pro' and VESA's 'ClearMR 13000' programs. The FO32U2P is not just about raw specs; it caters to gamers with "Tactical" features such as a dedicated button for switching between simulated screen sizes and resolutions tailored to different gaming genres, including a 24″ at 1080p option for competitive gaming.

The Samsung Display QD-OLED panel offers remarkable specifications including a 0.03ms G2G response time, an impressive 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits typical SDR brightness, wide viewing angles of 178/178 degrees, 10-bit color depth, and a 99% DCI-P3 wide color gamut. Moreover, it meets the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black tier standards, distinguishing it from conventional HDR 400 LCD monitors.

Connectivity options abound with 1x DisplayPort 2.1, 1x Mini DP 2.1 (UHBR20), 2x HDMI 2.1 (specifications not disclosed), and 1x USB Type-C port with DP Alt mode and 65W power delivery. Additionally, it features 2x USB data ports, a headphone jack, and a microphone input. Audio needs are covered with built-in 2x 5W speakers, while productivity features such as a KVM switch, Picture-in-Picture (PiP), Picture-by-Picture (PbP), and HDMI-CEC support enhance versatility.

Addressing concerns about image retention, Gigabyte introduces "OLED Care" measures, an AI-driven suite of solutions aimed at maintaining panel health and longevity. The monitor should be made available for purchase in the following months.
