Acer Predator X38 S official with 1600p resolution, NVIDIA G-Sync, 175hz OC Refresh Rate and 37.5" IPS screen

The Predator X38S is a sequel model to Acer's original Predator X38 model launched in 2019. Acer will launch this new curved gaming monitor in September with a price tag that will most probably go over $2000.

The Acer Predator X38 S is a new gaming monitor with an ultrawide screen, 37.5" IPS panel, 3840 x 1600 resolution, NVIDIA G-Sync Ultimate compatibility, NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer, 2300R screen curvature, excellent wide viewing angles, 175hz OC refresh rate, factory calibrated Delta E<2, HDR600 capability, 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, 10bit color depth, Predator Game Mode, Acer LightSense, Acer ColorSense, one DisplayPort 1.4 input, two HDMI 2.0 inputs, and an USB hub.

The monitor also comes with NVIDIA GSYNC Esports function that is a pre-configured setting that will put the monitor straight into gaming mode. This function will reduce the response time, increases object visibility in dark areas, and it applies other changes that will let gamers concentrate only on what they have to do instead of thinking about tinkering with various settings.

This Acer Predator X38 S comes with a stand that lets users adjust the monitor's swivel, tilt and height positions. If you want to hook it up to a custom desk mount, then you should know that this model is VESA100x100 compatible. On the back the monitor also features two built-in 7W audio speakers.

Acer Predator X38 S should be released this autumn with a price tag of $2000 for the US and €2200 for Europe.
