AOC confirms AGON Pro AG326UD 165hz QHD 165hz QD-OLED monitor at Gamescom 2024

The monitor features a 31.5″ QD-OLED panel, officially classified as 32″, with a 165Hz refresh rate. This makes it a notable option in the 32″ market, where most QD-OLED monitors typically offer a 240Hz refresh rate. AOC has chosen to provide more moderate specs with this model to make OLED technology more accessible and affordable, potentially lowering overall pricing in the mainstream market.

However, this doesn't mean the monitor lacks impressive features. It's part of AOC's top-tier AGON Pro gaming line, offering a 3840 x 2160 resolution, an ultra-fast 0.03ms G2G response time, 10-bit color depth, and a wide color gamut covering 99.3% of the DCI-P3 spectrum. The monitor also meets the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black standard and includes modes for TB400 and a peak 1000 mode, which delivers up to 1000 nits peak brightness in low APL % scenes.

The AOC AGON PRO AG326UD QD-OLED panel features a semi-glossy screen coating, preferred by many over the matte AG coating found on WOLED panels. It also features the gen 3 sub-pixel layout for better text clarity and boasts a high pixel density of 140 PPI. Additional features include a 3-port USB hub, a fully adjustable stand, and integrated 2x 8W speakers. Connectivity options include 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.1 ports. AOC backs its OLED monitors with a 3-year warranty that covers burn-in, providing peace of mind.

The 165Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates on compatible systems. While this is lower than the 240Hz offered by some 27″ QD-OLED models, it should be more manageable for those with less powerful systems or who don’t require extremely high refresh rates.
