ASUS has officially announced a brand new 1440p QHD gaming monitor that's capable of going up to 300hz variable refresh rate. The monitor is using a Fast IPS screen and it should offer great performance, great color quality and really fast response time with the gamer experiencing no ghosting nor in-game bluring.
The monitor boasts a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, along with gaming-specific features like G-sync Compatible certification and the manufacturer's ELMB-sync blur reduction technology. The XG27AQMR builds upon the success of its predecessor, the XG27AQM, by retaining many of the same features and specifications, while offering a native refresh rate of 300Hz - an upgrade from the overclocked 270Hz of the previous model.
The Asus ROG Strix XG27AQMR comes with both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies allowing gamers to experience no screen tearing nor stuttering when gaming. Here are some other specs: 1ms GtG minimum response time, DisplayHDR600, WQHD resolution, 300hz variable refresh rate, 16:9 aspect ratio, excellent wide viewing angles, HDR10, deltaE <2 color accuracy, DisplayPort 1.4 input, two HDMI 2.0 ports, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB 3.2 gen 1 Type-A ports, and a removable stand that lets users adjust the tilt, swivel, pivot and height positions.
