Dell continues to launch new Alienware fast gaming monitors and they are now releasing two new models. They are continuing the 25" 1080p and 27" 1440p gaming monitor series. In this post we will talk about the Full HD 360hz capable model called Alienware AW2523HF, and here you can find info about the other model called Alienware AW2723DF.
The Alienware AW2523HF uses a smaller screen that measures 24.5 inches which is the perfect limit when it comes to not seeing too many pixels in 1080P Full HD resolution. Monitors that are measuring more than 25 inches and are still using 1080p Full HD resolutions should not be made, as nothing looks good on them, and Dell seems to have learned their lesson as they had previously used to launch a 27-inch 1080p monitor with terrible pixel density that looked like it came with a cheap screen and bad color and picture quality.
Here are the specs that Alienware AW2523HF offers: 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 360hz maximum refresh rate, 0.5 GtG minimum response time, NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Technology, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness, excellent wide viewing angles, 99% sRGB color gamut, DisplayPort 1.4 input, two HDMI 2.0 ports, 3.5mm headphone jack, audio out, retractable headset support, AlienFX RGB lighting on its back, and more that we will confirm in a future updated post.
The Alienware AW2523HF will be available for purchase in early September for $450. If you're interested in the bigger 1440p model, then that one will be priced higher as you will be able to get one for $650.
