Dell has officially announced a brand new ultrawide monitor that is designed for mostly for office and productivity uses. The monitor should soon be available for purchase all over the world, but the pricing set for it is little bit steep.
The new monitor has the model version U3924DW and it is part of the UltraSharp Ultrawide monitors Dell has built along the years. The monitor also comes with the new IPS Black technology that should offer better contrast ratio that should reach 2000:1 values.
The Dell UltraSharp U3924DW packs a 5120 x 1440 ultrawide QHD resolution, 32:9 aspect ratio which equals two 16:9 monitors put side by side. Also, it measures 49 inches diagonally, IPS Black panel, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms GtG minimum response time, 350nits brightness, excellent wide viewing angles, 10bit color depth, 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, factory precalibration with a value of under 2 dE. When it comes to connectivity the monitor offers a single DisplayPort 1.4 input, one USB type-C port with DP Alt mode and support for 90W power delivery, two HDMI ports, KVM support, two USB-C data ports, four USB-A data ports, audio output and RJ45 network port. The stand that comes with the monitor also comes with tilt, swivel and height adjustments.
Dell's official website is showing the monitor as available for $1500.
