AOC continues to announce new gaming monitors and today we got news on their brand new Ultrawide OLED 45-inch model. Check the info below and learn more about its specs, pricing and release date.
This monitor features an OLED panel boasting a remarkable 240Hz refresh rate. Designed with an 800R curvature for an immersive experience, it incorporates advanced OLED specifications such as a peak brightness of 1000 nits, a swift 0.03ms G2G response time, and a resolution of 3440 x 1440. The monitor's high refresh rate is complemented by adaptive-sync technology, ensuring variable refresh rates (VRR) compatibility with NVIDIA and AMD systems. The OLED panel, specifically an LG.Display WOLED variant, empowers the screen with per-pixel level dimming, eliminating halos or blooming during use. This technology enables true blacks and achieves an essentially infinite contrast ratio, quoted at 1.5 million:1.
The peak brightness is specified as 1000 nits for a 3% APL window size, 450 nits for 25%, and 200 nits at 100% window size. Additionally, the monitor boasts 10-bit color depth support and a broad color gamut, covering 98.5% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB. The AOC AGON AG456UCZD will offer DisplayPort 1.4 input, USB Type-C, DP Alt-mode with 90W power delivery, and two HDMI 2.0 ports. The monitor will be released later this year. AOC hasn't officially confirmed the pricing nor the regions that will eventually get this model.
