ASUS has officially made available the ROG Strix XG259QN product page confirming all its specs and features that it will pack at launch. Below you can find info on all the things ASUS has put in their product.
Asus boasts a remarkable 0.3ms minimum response time, achieved through their cutting-edge ASUS Fast IPS Display. This innovation enables the liquid crystal elements of the screen to switch up to 10 times faster than conventional IPS panels, resulting in significantly improved response. Additionally, the screen features Asus' innovative "ELMB-sync" technology, which utilizes a strobing blur reduction backlight mode, allowing it to be used simultaneously with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for an enhanced visual experience.
The esports-focused monitor features a 24.5-inch 1080p IPS panel designed for optimal gaming performance, boasting a default refresh rate of 360Hz, which can be overclocked to 380Hz. To combat image tearing, it supports AMD FreeSync Premium and Adaptive Sync variable refresh rate (VRR) technology. ASUS has implemented its unique ‘ELMB-sync’ feature, working with VRR to minimize motion blur effectively.
In terms of specifications, the ROG Strix XG259QN offers an impressive 1 ms response time (gray-to-gray), VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, and a native 1080p resolution. Connectivity options cater to different needs with DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 ports, both capable of delivering smooth 144Hz gaming at 1080p. Additionally, there are two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and a 3.5mm audio jack available, though built-in speakers and Type-C connectivity are not included.
Pricing and availability details remain undisclosed, but Asus is expected to announce them soon.
