Philips releases ultrawide Evnia 34-inch QD-OLED 175hz gaming monitor

Philips has just unveiled its latest gaming monitor, the Evnia 34M2C6500. This model boasts a stunning 34″ ultrawide QD-OLED panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It offers a crisp resolution of 3440 x 1440 and a smooth 175Hz refresh rate, all on a gently curved 1800R screen. The panel uses Samsung's first-generation QD-OLED technology, widely adopted in recent high-end monitors. Adding to the immersive experience, the Evnia 34M2C6500 features Philips' “Ambiglow” lighting. These dynamic lights not only change colors but also sync with the audio and video of your games, creating a uniquely personalized gaming atmosphere.

The Philips Evnia 34M2C6500  34″ ultrawide monitor features an 1800R curvature, a 3440 x 1440 resolution, a 0.03ms G2G response time, a 1 million:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits brightness (SDR, 100% APL), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit color depth, and a wide color gamut covering 99.3% DCi-P3, 148.8% sRGB, and 97.8% Adobe RGB. It comes factory calibrated with a dE <2. The panel supports a 175Hz native refresh rate with adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates and carries the VESA ‘DisplayHDR 400 True Black’ certification for HDR, featuring various HDR preset modes and a peak brightness of 1000 nits (3% APL). For connectivity, it offers 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0, a headphone output, and 2x USB data ports, with PiP and PbP support for handling multiple inputs. The stand includes tilt, height, and swivel adjustments.

The monitor will soon be available for purchase worldwide. The pricing should be set at $800 for the United States.
